Inspira Labs, Yellow and Cicada Set Second 10X Founders Demo Day for August 25
Inspira Labs, Yellow and Cicada will hold the second edition of 10X Founders Demo Day on August 25. Eight selected founders will each present for five minutes, followed by two minutes of questions from a judging panel, before an audience of venture capital investors and domain experts. Organizers said that each participant receives a scorecard and introductions, and that the lineup is drawn from teams with a working product or demonstrated early traction that plan a token generation event within three to six months.
The first edition, held earlier this year, drew more than 150 applications, from which 12 finalists were selected through a multi-stage review. The judging panel spanned Varys Capital, Funders VC, Starknet Foundation, Magnus Capital, Coinsilium and Draper Associates. Backyard Finance won unanimously.
Sonic, an EVM chain, anchors the second edition, with co-hosts drawn from infrastructure, DeFi, security, media and growth. Organizers said support for participating teams spans ecosystem funding, acceleration, go-to-market and technical advisory access, market making and audit credits.
Organizers said early-stage teams repeatedly encounter three obstacles: some cannot see their own gaps in scaling, distribution or fundraising readiness; some identify the gaps but lack the leverage to close them; and markets shift faster than roadmaps, which can leave a product outdated before launch if it was built without room to adapt.
